BARN RUNNER GAMES


These games comprise the ongoing Barn Runner storyline. They are presented here in the order they should be played, i.e. the order in which the events of the story take place. Please note that they are not presented in the order in which the games were released, due to the fact that I tend to skip around in the chronology a bit when it comes to the holiday games.

Also, ignore the increasingly odd numbering system. It's an unfortunate leftover from when I first started this whole shebang and didn't plan far enough ahead ;-)

A robot has gone missing in the city that never winds it's clocks. For Detective Prick Peckard, head of the Robot Crimes Division, a simple investigation to find a missing robot quickly begins to spiral into something more sinister...

THE PRICK WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD

T'was the early afternoon before Christmas and Detective Prick Peckard, pride and joy of the Robot Crimes Division, had finally cornered a fugitive robot that had eluded him for three days in the untamed winter wilderness of the Blue Grass Containment Zone. Can Prick deal out justice to the murderous robot and still make it home in time to unwrap presents?

CYCLONE ALLEY

Following the misadventures of The Prick Who Came In From The Cold , Detective Peckard finally makes good his departure for home following a three day excursion in the Blue Grass Containment Zone. However, his timing couldn't be worse. A colossal RadStorm has formed over the Ash Wastes, one so large that Prick doesn't have enough fuel to fly around it. Rather, he must try to navigate the terrible storm front, avoiding the multitude of cyclones spinning across the blasted ruins.

On the eve of Christmas, Detective Peckard once more travels into the lawless and officially non-existent Blue Grass Containment Zone. He must contend with snow, dangerous locals, and his boss's suddenly raised expectations of him, as all the while, a ghostly figure from his past casts a long and sinister shadow over our lazy hero.

A few days after Prick has wrecked the halls, Dr. Noriko finds herself in the mood for love, and she has set her sights on one of the most eligible young bachelors in the city. If she wants to make a love connection with this younger man and avoid a lonely future filled with house cats and boxed wine, she'll have to fly through dangerous storms, crawl through air ducts, solve obtuse puzzles, and find a way to get him alone in the back seat of her car. Love is in the air and romance awaits the bold in the first dating sim set in the Barn Runner universe!

THE FOREVER FRIDAY

"The Big Crazy" has destroyed more than one city in the grim world of the future. It spreads like wildfire throughout the tight confines of an arcology, pitting the populace against each other in something akin to a mob version of cabin fever. Society breaks down as the necessary functions of the city fall before its own frenzied inhabitants. To date, no arcology has ever survived once The Big Crazy has begun within its walls.

And now The Big Crazy has come to ARC 19: Evansville.
